I didn't start raising these horses because I love having a bunch of baby colts running around. I started doing it because it was getting hard to buy the kind of horses that I wanted to ride. The people raising them didn't want to sell me their horse colts after I had taken their older brothers and proven them. Or let's say I just couldn't afford them any more so I started buying their full sisters. I went to California and Oregon and bought my studs as babies, raised them, rode them and showed them so I would know that I had good cow horses before I started breeding them. I can tell you how every colt will ride if they are given a fair chance and started right.
